      Jim was born in a small village (村莊) in England. His father, Mr. Brown, is a farmer. He has a big farm
and works hard on it. Now Jim is six years old, but there's no school near the village. He is very worried.
      "My sister works in London," says Mrs. Brown, "We can take Jim to school there. What do you think
of it?" 
      "It's a good idea!" Mr. Brown said happily. The next day they all went to London by train. Jim's aunt was
happy to see them. A week later, Jim came to school.
      "What's your name, little boy?" asked a teacher. "Jim Brown," answered the boy.
      "You must be polite (有禮貌的)," said the teacher, "Please say 'sir' when you are speaking to the old man.

Can you imagine keeping an alien dog (外星狗) as a pet? This is what happens in CJ7 —a wonderful movie made in China. Maybe some of you have seen it. It came out in January, 2008. The movie is about a poor man Ti, his son Dicky and their alien dog CJ7.

Dicky, a ten-year old boy, lives a poor life with his father Ti, a worker. One day, his father finds a ball in the trash(廢物) and he gives it to Dicky. The ball becomes

a lovely alien dog. It’s a small dog with big eyes and green hair. It can talk and perform magic (魔法). Soon the dog gets on well with Ti and his son. It goes to school with Dicky. It makes him laugh and brings him trouble, too.

When Ti falls off a building and dies, CJ7 saves his life. Because the dog loses all its power (能量), it becomes a doll. But Dicky still wears the doll around his neck. He hopes that CJ7 will come back to life one day.
