A boy who was cleaning the shoes in the street said to a young man passed by , “Let me clean your boots . It’ll spend you only a penny .” But the young man refused. Then the boy told him that he will clean his boots for nothing .The young man agreed, and soon a boot shining brightly .Then he put the other boot on the box , and the boy refused to clean it unless he was paid two pence for his work . The young man refused to pay for anything and went away . But the well-cleaning boot made the dirty ones so bad that he couldn't walk on . He returned back and gave the boy two pence .

During the summer holidays this year, I thought I should do anything meaningful instead of staying at home, so I have got a job at a KFC fast food restaurant, worked there as a cleaner.I worked seven hours a day for three weeks.
The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, which made me so tired that I nearly gave it
in half way, but I stuck to it with determinations.Every day I started off for work early in the morning and got home lately in the evening.Finally I finished the job before the new term begins.
Now, I understand that labor means.I think it is really successful experience.

When I first learned to write in English, I run into many difficulties.The main problem was in that I always thought in Chinese but tried to translate everything into Chinese.My teacher advised me to keep diaries.I followed her advices.Happily it worked.Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English.One day I wrote a short story and showed it my teacher.She liked it very much that she read it to the class.Everyone said the story was the good one. I was great encouraged by their words.
