Recycled plastic bottles have been used to make a house, but now Robert Bezeau from Canada is building a village with plastic bottles.

The amazing village, called Plastic Bottle Village, is deep in the jungles of an island in Panama. There are going to be 120 houses in the village. And each house needs thousands of plastic bottles.

According to experts, over 22, 000 plastic bottles are thrown away every second, and the number is growing. Where are they？Where do they go？Most of the plastic waste goes to the ocean. What's worse, it is always eaten by fish and birds. It is bad for their health.

Plastic Bottle Village is a very smart idea to turn the plastic waste into houses, and the ocean will be cleaner.

The village is in the jungles. They are very cool in temperature, so there is no need to use expensive energy for air conditioning in summer. What's more, the houses are “green”. And everything will be as environmentally friendly as possible.

“We are changing the world, without changing the earth, one house at a time, ” says Robert.
