On Sept 13.2017,for the first time in history, the International Olympic Committee (IOC奧組委) has decided to host cities at the same time.Paris will host the Olympic Games in 2024 and Los Angeles in 2028.

For Paris, the wait is longer.As the city that has hosted two Olympics before, it will host the event 100 years after its last Olympic Games.H also means Paris will become the second city to hold three Summer Olympic Games, after London and before Los Angeles.
However, the reason for the decision is that there were no other competitors (競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手) for the 2024 or 2028 Games In July, three of the five cities bidding for (申辦)the 2024 Olympics gave up because they think the Olympics cost much.They were Hamburg, Rome and Budapest.
But it seems Paris and Los Angeles have less problem with that.The cities have more than 90% of the facilities (設(shè)施) for the Games, which will cut the cost.
