In our daily life many people always have negative (消極的) thoughts. Being in a negative space is harmful to our life and study. If you keep them in mind, you will lose hope sooner or later. Let’s drive away some of the most common negative thoughts.
No one cares about me.
Sometimes you say that your family and friends don’t care about you. Maybe you’re being too negative and misunderstand the gestures of love they show you. They don’t even have to be big gestures, but there are many countless little things they do for you. Maybe you just pay no attention to them and take them for granted. Perhaps you think they don’t care about you so you don’t make any effort in your relationships. Start showing people you care, so they can show you back in the same way. And if you don’t have good relationships with the people you know, what’s stopping you from making new friends?
Why is she better off?
Comparing yourself to someone else is never positive. There’s always going to be someone who is younger, prettier, smarter, or richer than you. If you keep admiring what someone else has, then this may cause you to lose the balance in your mind, which will open a whole other negative can of worms. Remember, what they don’t have is your whole package. Be proud of what you have, because if you want to play the comparison game, remember that there are people who are also worse off than you are.
I’ll never reach my goal.
If you think you’re not going to be able to “get there”, think again. There are many people who are worse off and have overcome more difficulty than what you are facing.
Everything will not beyond your reach if you work hard and have a positive attitude.

A warm story has been taking place on one end of Islington Road.
Glenda and Raphael Savitz met with each other in 2011 in Boston. They fell in love and got married in the fall of 2013. In the summer of 2016, the couple moved to Auburndale, Florida. Three months later, their daughter Samantha was born..
However, within a week, the doctor told them that their newborn baby was deaf. It was a hard blow to the couple. What should they do? They had no choice but to help her learn sign language. "We are going to learn it, too. It is important for her growth and development," the mother said.
But they didn't expect it when their neighbors all started to learn sign language. " We were excited that this new baby was coming," said Jill McNeil, one of the neighbors. "But it's frustrating (令人沮喪的)not to be able to say, " Oh, Samantha, I love your pretty pink pants. " To communicate with the cute girl, they had to know her language. So these neighbors hired a tutor without letting Glenda and Raphael know.
Go. Like. Want. Eat. Play. Have. Make. These adult-students started with simple words. They then learnt to ask questions in sign language, such as " Who do you live with?" and " Where does your family live?"
Now the American Sign Language has become a second tongue in the neighborhood. These kind neighbors practice it with the girl almost every day.
Growing up in such a warm neighborhood, Samantha is now a happy and energetic(充滿活力的)girl. She greets her neighbors every time she sees them. It's an amazing situation, since deaf children can be shy.
Samantha is a lucky girl. She has found real family among all those people next door.
